The Pierre Area Center For Equality (PACE) welcomes LGBTQIA+ Community to attend Pierre Area Pride this July 15, at Drifters Bar & Grille

Pierre Area Pride is an event for the LGBTQIA2S+ community and allies of Pierre and the surrounding area. The Pierre Area Pride of 2022 successfully drew in over 200 people. The goal is to attract more attendance as PACE will celebrate five years since the organization’s founding.

This event is open to all who are loving, accepting, and supportive of the LGBTQIA2S+ Community. Any intolerance will not be tolerated.

4:00 PM – Family Dance Party
5:00 PM – Dinner Break
6:30 PM – Doors Reopen
7:00 PM – Drag Show and Bingo (Ages 18+)

The Pierre Area Center is excited to host Pierre Area Pride at Drifters Bar and Grill once again.

Drifters have been supportive of the Pierre Area Center for Equality, selling rainbow cakes during Pride Month. 50% of rainbow cake sales go to the Pierre Area Center for Equality.

Drifters creates fresh menu items from scratch. Bringing you contemporary American cuisine with burgers, steaks, seafood, flatbreads, and their signature dish… Walleye Tacos! Drifters enjoys introducing new and intriguing brews, carefully selected wines, and hand-crafted cocktails.

Drifters’ mission is to ensure guests make memories on the Missouri. They strive to be a contributing member of the community and look forward to improving the quality of life for those in Central South Dakota.

Dixy Divine is an accomplished drag artist and performer located in South Dakota. They are known for being an advocate in the growing Black Hills drag scene, organizing drag performances. Dixy holds many drag fundraisers for the betterment of their community.

Divine has avidly supported Pierre Area Pride, organizing performances and bringing a showcase of talented performers from all over South Dakota.

At The Pierre Area Center for Equality (PACE), we have served the LGBTQIA2S+ people in the Pierre area since 2018. This spring and summer, we are aiming to raise $1000 to fund the 2023 Pierre Area Pride on July 15.

In our effort to raise the funds needed for this event, we are reaching out to businesses in the community to sponsor. As a sponsor, your business would provide a monetary donation and in turn, we would promote your support of Pierre Area Pride 2023.

Alternatively, your business could provide donated items to be used as prizes in your role as our sponsor. If you would like to keep your sponsorship anonymous, we will respect that request. ­­
